Itineraries
Day 1
Dar es Salaam to Nyerere National Park
In the morning, depart from Dar es Salaam by scheduled flight to Nyerere National Park (formerly Selous Game Reserve), a scenic 45-60 minute journey. Upon arrival, meet your guide and transfer to your luxury lodge or camp. You will be welcomed by the lodge manager and transferred to your camp, where you can check in, freshen up, and enjoy a gourmet lunch with panoramic views of the stunning wilderness. In the afternoon, embark on your first short game drive to explore the park’s rich wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, and more. Return to the lodge for a refreshing sundowner, followed by a fine-dining dinner under the stars, immersing yourself in the tranquility of the African bush.

Day 2 & 3
Nyerere National Park
Start your two full days with an early morning sunrise game drive, the optimal time to spot predators and witness wildlife in action as the day begins. Enjoy a combination of game drives, trekking, and a boat safari, offering diverse opportunities to explore the park’s landscapes and wildlife. All activities will be organized at the discretion of the camp manager, ensuring a tailored experience that maximizes your chances of encountering the park’s fascinating flora and fauna.

Day 4
Nyerere National Park - Ruaha National Park
Transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Ruaha National Park, taking with you the unforgettable memories of Nyerere National Park. As you fly, enjoy the beautiful bird's-eye view of the landscape, offering a stunning perspective of Tanzania's wilderness. Upon arrival at Ruaha, you will be met by the camp manager and transferred to your luxury camp, where you'll enjoy a delicious lunch amidst the natural beauty of the park. Afterward, the camp manager will provide a brief overview of your stay, including the various activities available during your visit. All activities, from game drives to nature walks, will be tailored to your interests and the best wildlife opportunities, ensuring a truly personalized and memorable experience in one of Tanzania’s most pristine wilderness areas.

Day 5 & 6
Ruaha National Park
Spend two full days exploring the wonders of Ruaha National Park with exciting game drives, offering the chance to spot a wide range of wildlife, including majestic lions, elusive leopards, towering giraffes, and herds of buffalo. Explore the park in a 4x4 camp vehicle, designed for optimal wildlife viewing and comfort as you venture into diverse landscapes, from open savannahs to dense woodlands. All activities within Ruaha National Park, including the timing and routes for game drives, will be organized at the discretion of the camp manager, ensuring flexibility and the best opportunities to witness the park's rich biodiversity in action.

Ruaha National Park - Dar es Salaam for your
After breakfast, depending on your flight schedule, enjoy a final game drive to capture last glimpses of the park’s wildlife or simply relax at the lodge, taking in the peaceful surroundings before your departure. This is your opportunity to reflect on the unforgettable experiences and beauty of Ruaha National Park.
Transfer to the airstrip for your flight back to Dar es Salaam, where you can connect to your outbound flight or continue with your onward program.
Alternatively, extend your adventure with a visit to Zanzibar Island, where you can unwind on pristine beaches, explore the vibrant Stone Town, or enjoy a spice tour before concluding your journey.
